These general terms and conditions are intended to ensure a safe and smooth shopping experience at RUMI OF SWEDEN. By shopping with us, you agree to the terms and conditions below.

RUMI OF SWEDEN is a brand owned and operated by RUMI OF SWEDEN AB , a limited liability company registered in Sweden. These general terms and conditions (“Terms”) constitute a binding agreement between you as a customer and RUMI OF SWEDEN AB (“RUMI OF SWEDEN”, “we”, “our”, “us”) and govern your use of the website rumiofsweden.com (the “Website”) and the purchases you make through it.  

By using the website or making a purchase, you agree to these terms and conditions. RUMI OF SWEDEN AB reserves the right to update or change the terms and conditions without prior notice. The version of the terms and conditions published at the time of your order applies to the current purchase.

1.1 Order and payment

To make a purchase via rumiofsweden.com , you must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent.  

We accept payments via VISA, MasterCard, Klarna, PayPal and Google Pay . All transactions are securely processed through our payment service provider to protect your information.  

When paying by invoice via Klarna , Klarna's own terms and conditions apply, and a credit check may be carried out in accordance with their policy.  

All prices are stated in SEK (for Sweden) and EUR (for EU countries ) and include statutory VAT . We reserve the right to make corrections, price adjustments and final sales.  

After completing your purchase, an order confirmation will be automatically sent to the email address provided when placing the order. If you do not see the confirmation in your inbox, please also check your spam folder .  

If you have not received your order confirmation within 24 hours , please contact us at support@rumiofsweden.com and we will help you.  

1.2 Delivery and shipping

We deliver within Sweden and the EU in collaboration with DHL and DB Schenker. All packages are delivered to the nearest agent or Service Point for a safe and smooth delivery, where you can easily pick up your order at a time that suits you.  

Normal delivery time:  

  • Sweden: 2–5 business days

  • EU: 3–7 business days  

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a delivery confirmation via email with a tracking number, so you can follow your shipment in real time.  

 

1.3 Shipping cost  

  • Sweden: We offer free shipping on all products, regardless of order value.

  • EU: Shipping cost is automatically calculated at checkout based on destination.  

Please note that delivery times may be affected by circumstances beyond our control, such as transport delays, holidays, weather conditions or other unforeseen events . We recommend that you follow your delivery via the tracking link for up-to-date information.

1.4 Unclaimed packages

If a package is not picked up within the carrier's specified deadline, it will automatically be returned to us.  

  • DHL: Packages must be picked up within 7 days .

  • DB Schenker: Packages must be picked up within 14 days .  

These timeframes follow the carriers' current policies and are subject to change. We recommend that you pick up your package as soon as possible to avoid returns and additional fees.  

For unclaimed packages, a fee of SEK 300 will be charged . The fee covers part of the costs we incur for shipping, handling, packaging and return handling at our warehouse.  

If you wish to cancel a purchase after the order has been shipped, you must first collect the package and then complete a return according to our return policy. An uncollected package is not considered a valid return.  

1.5 Customs, VAT and taxes  

  • Within the EU: VAT is charged according to the country-specific VAT rate applicable to the country of delivery. The VAT amount is displayed at checkout and is included in the total price.

  • Outside the EU: Orders to countries outside the EU may be subject to customs duties, import taxes and other administrative costs, depending on local customs regulations. These fees are determined by the customs authority in the recipient country and are payable by the customer upon delivery.  

We have no control over such fees and cannot predict the exact amount. We recommend that you contact your local customs office for more information on any additional costs before completing your purchase.  

2. Returns, exchanges and complaints

We want you to feel confident with your purchase at RUMI OF SWEDEN. That's why we offer a 14-day return policy from the date you receive your order.

2.1 Return Policy

For a return to be approved, the product must be in unused and unaltered condition, with all original packaging, labels and any protective details intact.  

All returns must be notified in advance via support@rumiofsweden.com . Include your order number in the subject line to facilitate and expedite processing.  

When your return is approved, you will receive a return form and a shipping label via email, which should be used for the return shipment.

2.2 Return fees  

  • Sweden: 150 SEK

  • EU: 250 SEK  

The return fee will be automatically deducted from the refund amount.  

We recommend that you save the delivery receipt from the carrier until your return has been processed and the refund has been issued.

2.2 Refund

Once we have received and approved your return, the amount will be refunded to your original payment method within 14 days .  

Please note that shipping costs are not refundable.  

We reserve the right to deduct the refund amount if the item shows signs of use, is missing its original packaging, or has damage that affects its condition and value. Any deduction will correspond to the decrease in value compared to the original condition of the item.

2.3 Complaints

If you have received an item that is defective, damaged or incorrect, please contact us immediately after receiving and inspecting the product at support@rumiofsweden.com .  

In order for us to handle your matter as smoothly as possible, we ask that you include the following information in your email:  

  • Order number

  • A clear description of the error  

  • Pictures showing the damage or defect  

In the event of an approved complaint, we will cover the return shipping and replace you with a new item or refund the purchase price, depending on the situation and availability.

3. Privacy & Personal Data

We protect your privacy and handle your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable legislation. Your data is only used to administer your order, improve our service and for marketing communications, in accordance with your consent.  

We never share your personal data with third parties without your express consent, except when necessary to fulfill our agreement with you ( e.g. when processing payments or delivering your order).

4. Force Majeure

RUMI OF SWEDEN cannot be held liable for delays, non-delivery or other obligations that are affected by circumstances beyond our control. This includes, but is not limited to:  

  • Natural disasters ( e.g. earthquakes, floods, storms)  

  • Pandemics or epidemics

  • Strikes, lockouts or other labor disputes

  • Disruptions in transport and logistics systems

  • Technical errors or operational disruptions in payment and supplier services

  • Legal changes or government decisions that affect our operations  


    In the event of a Force Majeure situation, we reserve the right to suspend our obligations for the duration of the extraordinary event. If the circumstances persist for a longer period of time and delivery cannot be made within a reasonable time, both we and the customer have the right to cancel the purchase without any penalties.

    5. Intellectual Property Rights

    All content on rumiofsweden.com , including but not limited to texts, images, graphics, logos, designs and trademarks, belongs to RUMI OF SWEDEN AB and is protected under the Copyright Act and other applicable intellectual property laws.  

    It is not permitted to copy, modify, distribute, reproduce or use any content from our website in commercial or private contexts without our express written consent.  

    Any unauthorized use of our content may result in legal action.

    6. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution

    These terms and conditions are governed by Swedish law . In the event of any disputes, we always strive to reach a mutually agreeable solution with our customers. We therefore encourage you to first contact our customer service at support@rumiofsweden.com to try to resolve any disagreements.  

    If a dispute cannot be resolved directly between the parties, you as a consumer have the option to turn to:  

    • The Swedish Consumer Complaints Board (ARN) – an independent board that hears consumer disputes. Visit www.arn.se for more information.

    • EU ODR platform – a European online platform for alternative dispute resolution. You can submit a complaint via https://ec.europa.eu/odr .  

    If a dispute needs to be resolved in court, it shall be heard in accordance with Swedish law at a Swedish general court .
